The EcoLibrary is a collection of digital documents relevant to the environment and planning in the Salish Sea. It features reports, data, educational material, photos and maps (graphic & GIS). The library has a current focus on Bowen Island/ Nexwlélexwm, because that’s where it lives. We hope to grow its range to help environmentalists connect with the work of colleagues across the region.
Here you can browse, open, compare and download. Dive right in, or see how it works. This is a place to highlight important new papers and solid research from previous decades. Interested? Please visit our Contribute page.

You may want to try out the search features, where you can discover by subject, location, title, author, keywords and other data fields. You can access each document in its original form (PDF, jpeg, etc.) and in a text-only format. To avoid losing your page of search results, you may want to open pages in new tabs.
We appreciate the many source organizations, such as Bowen Island Municipality, Islands Trust, Metro Vancouver and the Bowen Island Conservancy, as well as the scientists, consultants, island residents and others who have contributed material. We look forward to adding more.
